Puerto Rico should have been wiped off the map and rebuilt as one big resort after their little terrorism campaign on American soil a few decades ago. [Quoting @michaeldcargill]: Whether you like it or not, Puerto Rico is part of the United States. Embrace your culture and American History. #SuperBowlHalftime

❌Verdict

NOT BASED – advocates collective punishment and ethnic cleansing of millions of innocent people based on actions of a small terrorist group decades ago

đź’ˇBased Retort

The FALN bombings were real terrorism that killed and injured Americans—that's historical fact. But collective punishment is never justice. You don't 'wipe out' 3+ million innocent American citizens because a fringe group of extremists committed violence 40-50 years ago. That's the same logic terrorists use. Justice means holding individual perpetrators accountable (which happened—FALN members were arrested and imprisoned). Puerto Ricans are Americans. They've served in our military at higher rates than many states. They deserve the same rights, dignity, and due process as any other Americans. If you want to talk about FALN terrorism and how it was handled, that's legitimate history. But advocating ethnic cleansing as 'what should have happened' is morally disqualifying. We're better than that.
